Forecasting Systems

TAS has been operating successful predictive forecasting systems for many years for meteorology, dust, blast fumes and noise, including advanced noise systems at many locations.  TAS presently runs the predictive meteorological and dust risk systems used by all mines across the Hunter Valley, and in other coal mining areas.  TAS has developed a unique noise model able to accurately predict the effects on noise levels at receivers arising from three dimensionally time varying meteorological conditions.

The TAS technologies are demonstrably superior to any other offering on the market. Validation of the systems display an excellent correlation between the model forecasts and reality.
